Six Tips for Successful Coaches in Educating Successful Students in Memorizing the Quran in Higher Education

One of the keys to success for students in memorizing the Quran is being guided by coaches who have certain tips. This research analyzes how successful trainers can help students memorize the Quran. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, data sources were taken through interviews with five informants consisting of one supervisor and four students. All interviews were analyzed using the Milles-Huberman technique. The research findings show six tips that coaches can use so that students are successful in memorizing the Quran. The six tips are i) determine the target of memorizing one page a day, ii) spend sufficient time listening to the memorization, iii) improve the reading of the Quran according to tajweed rules, iv) require students to take part in extracurricular Quran programs (daurah), v) strengthen memorization through worship and vi) giving advice about the glory of memorizing the Quran. These six tips can be used as an example or reference for those who memorize the Quran so that they can produce successful memorizers.
